Indian publishers will submit the work of Indian authors in the London Book Fair 2020on Jan 23, 2020 As the London Book Fair 2020 is scheduled for 10th March to 12th March, The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has decided with London Book Fair to publish a “Rights Catalogue” of selected writings of Indian authors to present the work of Indian authors through Indian publishers on a global level. London Book Fair is a large platform where publishers and authors from across the globe showcase their work. India has ranked second place in the publishing of the English language, globally. The selected writings from Indian publishers will be presented to participants of LBF. Aastha Gupta, the assistant director stated, “Ficci, it’s a golden opportunity to present the work of Indian authors through the exclusive ‘Ficci-LBF Rights Catalogue’ to over 25,000 publishing professionals from across the world. Ficci is providing the global stage to the Indian writings through the catalogue of “Ficci-LBF Rights Catalogue”. This will give opportunities to the Indian publishers of exploring trading with International publishers and distributors. A publisher can submit multiple writings for the catalogue. Fee per writing is Rs 1,500 + GST. The last date of the submission is 15 February
